Holy smokes!
This year is really starting with a bang. My email box and voice mail are filling up with new clients and illustration assignments. As usual I am working simultaneously on a wide variety of projects.
The eclectic mix of styles and subject matter that I am called upon to create really keeps me fresh and excited about the work. It's a load of fun to work on something cute & cuddly in the morning, dark and gritty in the afternoon and comedic in the evening. It all keeps me well-rounded as an artist and continually stretching which is so important to me.
Let me take this opportunity in my first blog here to express my sincere and never-ending gratitude for my life. I wake up each day feeling truly fortunate for being able to live my dream. Everyday at the drawing board includes at least one moment where I look out the window alongside me and just think about how lucky I am. The beauty of my life is not lost on me. I truly and deeply appreciate it!
